Our Home Health Aides provide assistance to our clients with activities of daily living which includes bathing, eating and moving around the house. Our Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) also help our clients with their medications administration.

Private Duty Care is administered in the home either by a Registered Nurse or a Certified Nursing Assistant. These nurses will perform tasks that are required to ensure the continuity of care for the client in compliance with the Plan of Care recommended by the client’s Physician or Case Manager. Those services are more suitable to clients who:
- Have recently been discharged from a Health Care Facility
- Have undergone major surgery and are in need for safe and speedy recovery assistance
- Require rehabilitative therapy under the supervision of a home health care professional

Their main responsibility is in ensuring that you follow your medication plan as prescribed for you by your physician. The CMT administers medication, after having checked the dosage, the type of medication and will assist you in the intake process as well.
CMT can also check your current medication supply and remind you when you are running low on stock. That way, a prescription refill can be ordered as soon as possible.
